Produced just two weeks before the 2000 presidential election, the sketch raises questions about who will win as the best technocrat and whether we're any freer with so many machines helping us out with our lives. Part of the audio sketch series, Micro-Texts, which consist of 11 creatively produced commentaries that explore the cultural impact of technology. Produced weekly in the last three months of 2000 for the PRI-distributed "Beyond Computers," each piece still reflects a contemporary view of how machines are ruling our lives.
