Hookerjr_small John Lee Hooker, Jr. carries one of the most familiar names in blues history. In 1972 he sang with his famous father in a concert at Soledad Prison in California. Hooker, Jr. didn't record again until 2004, when his album "Blues With A Vengeance" was released. "Cold As Ice" is his second album. Hooker has his own style and direction, but while he maps out his own course musically, the pictures of his life that come through his songs can be troubling.
