Propelled by themes of war, deception and distrust, including various degrees of presidential misconduct, "A Shortcut To Impeachment" draws parallels between the Richard Nixon and George W. Bush administrations with additional stops in the Oval Offices of Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and LBJ. From Vietnam to Iraq, from Watergate through Contragate this program underlines the "History Repeating" theory with clips from all these leaders of the free world, mixed with commentary from Daniel Ellsberg, Howard Zinn, Howard Dean, Stephen Colbert, Colin Powell, Gore Vidal, Dick Cheney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dr. Jennifer Melfi, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Dwight David Eisenhower, Marge & Bart Simpson, Ken Starr, Bobby Bacala, Tony Soprano and Gerald Ford. Music from Marvin Gaye, Gnarls Barkley, Al Green, The Propellerheads, Shirley Bassey, Madonna, Steve Earle, Steely Dan, Charlie Chaplin, John Barry, The Buffalo Springfield, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, ELO, Pearl Jam, The Average Whie Band, Linda Ronstadt and Neil Young with our themesong-- "Let's Impeach The President".

Review of A Shortcut to ImpeachmentThis piece is a clever sound collage where the initial humour changes to tedium as sound bite after sound bite demonstrates the Wild West

Review of A Shortcut to ImpeachmentPeter Bochan's "A Shortcut to Impeachment" has the haunting feel of a late-night cross-country drive spent listening to the car radio as stations fade in and out, creating a strange poetry of juxtaposed voices and music. Here the randomness of overlapping radio signals is replaced with righteous indignation. We've heard all this material before, but we've never had it brought together in such an intricate and disturbing web. Fair and balanced? As a matter of fact, it is. It's also painfully relevant and vital and deserves to be heard above the spin. |

Review of A Shortcut to Impeachment
I have been keeping a library of vocal segments (propaganda) since the beggining of this war and Peter has done a great job with something I've been wanting to do or help with. the music choices are wonderfull too. An excellent job has been done. For those that havent heard it I encourage all to do just that. Again Thanx Peter.
