Review of Youth Voting

It’s incredible how Zoe gives so many interesting facts in her piece in such a short amount of time. Her piece is very important not only because she is speaking about an event that can really affect the way things are in our lives but also because she is informing a group of people who aren’t as well informed like, us teenagers. Her piece flows along perfectly it focuses on the main issue of voting and how it can extremely affect our country. Zoe’s piece is very informative and well produced; she covers many important points which hook the audience to keep on wanting to listen to the piece. It would have been awesome if she would have added music. But overall this piece was great, it gave me many different points to think about.

Review of Youth Voting

Nine percent of youth vote..that's crazy.. Zoe tells us why, with this compelling commentary. She has a very refreshing way of portraying her point. Her voice is clear, and and opinion is supported by fact. she isn't some disgruntle voter..she isn't even old enough to vote yet, she is just a very smart and political young women, that took the time to examine, why youth don't vote, instead of just complaining. And if those who are running for office, or want to increase the number of youths at the poll, listened to some of the suggestions in this piece, there would definitely be a higher turn our at all polling booths across the country. So if you are planning to vote now or in the future, on know someone who is, you should check out this piece.

Review of Youth Voting

Host intro really cool! But you want to try to keep the word ?me? out, try to make it more general and also try not to give your opinion. Because it also gets confusing. Also I don?t think youth don?t vote because they don?t know they can vote. I like your one person piece, it would have been more interesting if you interviewed youth on why they don?t vote, rather then cite statistics. You know I have learned something while doing stories, it is: the people that the story relates to can give you so much of your arguments, which then makes your story more interesting. But I understand is also makes it harder to edit and finalize. But you focused on a big issue and I think it matters most that your helping getting this out. Did you know more people voted for American Idol then the presidential elections!
