Piece Description
Stories of growing old with grace in the gay community: Profiles two elders: Hannah Blue Heron and Maurice Grossman. Hannah was a nun and a hippy and now, at 76, lives in the desert in an underground kiva she built herself; then the story of Maurice Grossman, Tucson's bon vivant turns 75 and comes out after two wives and three kids. 2006 Update: Hannah Blue Heron, a longtime lesbian feminist community builder, musician and former nun, has chronicled her life's path in "Growing Tall in Colorado." Hannah's now 81. Maurice is still charming as ever.
