DEAN: This is ethically speaking with Dean Ritz and Deni Elliott.

DENI: Ever wonder how people can live in two different ethical worlds?

DEAN: What do you mean, two different ethical worlds?

DENI: What I mean is one person with different sets of ethical values. Like having one set for you treat your family and friends and another set of values for how you treat customers or strangers.

DEAN: Or, more commonly, one set of ethics for work, and another for your personal life!

DENI: Yes. I remember my father coming home from work and saying ?It?s a dog-eat-dog world out there.? But, my mother would come home from work and say, ?You should treat everyone like family.? My mother?s take on it always seemed more consistent.

DEAN: You?re suggesting that we should each have just one set of ethical values?
