The KingPup Radio Show-Small Time Opry continues the tradition of regional country music radio programs that flourished throughout rural America during the 1930?s through the 1950?s. It blends tongue in cheek humor and live acoustic music performances into fast-paced 15 and 30 minute shows that recall vintage Grand Ole Opry broadcasts.
Performances of regional Old-Time Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Swing and Blues artists are captured live from venues across the Carolinas, Virginia and east Tennessee and distributed to radio affiliate stations throughout the world on CD masters. The programs are hosted by the husband and wife Folk music duo Phil & Gaye Johnson of Tryon, NC.
This program is 1 of 78 half hour programs cleared for broadcast and made available as a full barter offering.
