Host Intro: April is national poetry month and to celebrate we'd like to introduce you to Clive Haswell. Clive was born in Empire, MI in 1913. As a young man Clive traveled the country riding in boxcars and playing poker. In his later years he chronicled his experiences in verse, writing some 5,000 poems in 40 handwritten books. Producer Adam Allington brings us this profile.
