Starting when the Second Continental Congress met in May 1775, then all the way to John Hancock signing it, The American Spirit takes you on the journey of how and what "Congress most famous child" is and came to be. This journey explores truth of the Declaration...not what's just in a textbook. Explore the signing, the speeches, and the impact the Declaration of Independence had on American society in 1776...and the impact it has today on We The People.

Review of The American Spirit: The History, Voice, and Stand of the Declaration of IndependenceHistory term paper folded into a commentary. Josh Wehe reads us the story of the Second Continental Congress and the "other story" behind the Declaration of Independence. It's too long of a commentary but the story itself is interesting. The challenge is sticking with it as a listener. Wehe is young and you can hear it in his read. But he does a good job of emphasizing the right points and giving the right emotion. He has potential. Technically this need work. Read is echoey and lots of microphone pops.
