A George Foster Peabody Award winner, American radio personality Mike Whorf spent nearly forty years of his announcing and program-hosting career at WJR in Detroit, Michigan. Currently retired, his extensive catalog of over 1,110 hour-long programs now resides with Loyola Productions, Inc. where the tapes are undergoing restoration and transfer to digital media.
