Youth Mic is a weekly youth-produced program about issues important to teens that is broadcast live every Monday night on WKCR (89.9FM). All topics are chosen by teens, who also make all the phone calls, find guests, create pre-recorded reports, and host the live programs. We cover topics ranging from Sconex and MySpace to metal detectors in school and the gentrification of Harlem.

To hear our archives, go to www.wkcr.org --> Archives --> Youth Mic Archives.

We are always looking for new members, aged 13-18. Contact Jesse Chanin at jesse.chanin@gmail.com if interested.
