Headquartered on South Padre Island, Texas, the organization creates timely specials, like the WWI Living History Project, and weekly programming such as its ongoing music/literature magazine Theme and Variations. Currently in production: a documentary exploration of the culture of Central Asia and the Middle East.
Host and executive producer Will Everett was recently awarded the Bronze World Medal (Best News Analysis/Commentary) at the New York Festivals for "Behind the Burka," an essay derived from an audio expedition in Afghanistan in 2005.
