We travel across the country searching for new, undiscovered musicians and visiting with old friends. Host Stuart McLean is a best-selling author, award-winning journalist and humorist, in addition to being the host of CBC Radio's The Vinyl Cafe. Since 1998 Stuart has taken the show on the road, performing in large and small towns across Canada from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Whitehorse in the Yukon. The Vinyl Cafe is one of CBC Radio's most popular radio programs. More than 750, 000 North Americans listen to The Vinyl Cafe every weekend. The show is currently heard across Canada on CBC Radio 1 & 2, on BBC 7 in the UK and on KUOW in Seattle.
