Reading the brief synopsis, I was wondering what a "soar throat" was. Do you mean "sore"?
Clearly Mr. Pell does not understand the difference between "pyrethrins" and "pyrethroids" . They are not interchangeable.
There certainly have not been 50 deaths associated with "pyrethrins" in the ten year time frame noted.
There is an abundance of chronic toxicology data on file with EPA. EPA regulates the sale and use of pesticides. FDA regulates drugs. In the case of pyrethroids used on humans, those products are regulated by FDA.
By the way, pyrethroids have been used in agriculture and in consumer pesticides for decades. They are not "new".
