Ms Previn is not like any other writer in the music business; her fusion of the humourous, political, personal and very frank is unique and she is just as eloquent and original in this interview as she is in her lyrics. First and foremost, she has proven herself to be an artist (like too few others) who is not driven by commercial considerations so much as the art and craft that is so evident in all her work. This interview will a great resource for new listeners discovering her work for the first time now that it's quite widely available on CD and on the internet.
