PRX Closes Its Nuclear Reactor

Hi friend of PRX,

After long negotiations, PRX has finally agreed to close its small nuclear reactor in exchange for multiple new foundation grants. We were only using it for peaceful purposes anyway, like running the computers that serve up 'the glorious people's audio.'

I encourage our radio comrades to try a Radio Netherlands special with poet Seamus Heaney (good for St. Patrick's Day!). The unusual way one mom copes with her son at war in Iraq. And, an intense essay about the sound of lunch.

Now, put down that atom,
-- John
