I would like to thank everyone at PRX who helped me get through a wonderful, crazy, rocketship, rollercoaster project. Izzy Smith, Jake Shapiro, and John Barth - this award is for YOU. May all your 'Snap Judgments' prove the correct choice...
Rebecca Watson: I has a Zeitfunk Award. Awarding my funky Zeit. I believe that "Zeit" is German for "shiznit." Thank you, Public Radio Exchange, for this karate-kicking honor.

Paul Ingles, The Two Sides of Sgt. Pepper, and The Emergence of Joni Mitchell
Paul Ingles:
I'd like to thank the Cambridge Tae Kwon-Do studio that went out of business and donated these trophies to PRX for some of us producers to enjoy. I haven't won a trophy since I was the back-up second baseman on the Springfield Lions in 1970.Seriously, thanks to Jake, John, the whole PRX crew and all those who worked originally to turn this content-sharing and income-producing vision into a reality. Special thanks to the radio stations for shopping at PRX. It's helping to keep radio creativity alive.

We would like to to thank the stations who downloaded our clips and thank PRX for its support and commitment to future-tense radio.PRX is an excellent way to get programming out to stations and their listeners. As a program promotion and awareness vehicle, PRX is invaluable. It?s also one of the best ways to hear first hand what our colleagues are doing and thinking.

Most Licensed Series
And the award goes to:
Compact Discoveries from Fred Flaxman
Fred Flaxman:
Wow! Two years in a row. This is great news! I'm so glad to see that more and more stations feel that Compact Discoveries serves their audiences well, and helps spread the love of classic music to new listeners.PRX is an easy, efficient, inexpensive and fun way of distributing public radio programs. It is particularly great for people like me who are too lazy or busy to walk to their mail boxes. On the other hand, it is depriving me of much-needed exercise.

Most Active Reviewer
And the award goes to:
Jim Reiss
Jim Reiss:
Until now I thought PRX stood for "Please Rent Xylophones"! I stand corrected. PRX rocks!Aside from the hours of great fun PRX has personally given me, it continues to shed mega-decibels of beauty and truth for our ear-starved planet.

And the award goes to:
The Latvala Files: Hangin' Out in the Vault from Justin Grotelueschen
Justin Grotelueschen:
I haven't won a trophy since beating a pig around a ring with a sawed-off broomstick at age 12. Thankfully no broomstick beatings were administered to win a trophy this time around.PRX is an assault on the ear. You know, a good kind of assault.

There's nothing more exciting than being honored by your peers. I want to extend a great big thank you to all of the people who logged in and made this award possible!PRX is a great tool to provide access for listeners and producers alike to quality radio pieces. I admire the diversity and breadth of the topics covered presented on PRX and view it as a valuable learning tool.
Now for the Honorary Zeitfunk Awards...
The Number Crunchiest
And the award goes to:
Quentin Hope, PRX's Independent Business Evaluator
Quentin Hope:
Thank you so much for the "Zeitfunk" award. I am most honored and appreciative -- of the award but mainly of the opportunity to work with PRX from the start. My daughter FuXian was also particularly pleased. She gave me a hug, told me she was very proud of me, and made sure we put it up some place high so it wouldn't get damaged. It may also have been reassuring to her as an indication that I actually do something for a living.
