Hi friend of PRX,
PRX tries to stay 'heads up' about all sorts of things. This week we're occupied with that broken, bus-sized satellite the Navy intends to shoot down before it slams into terra firma with its toxic fuel. We haven't been this concerned since Skylab fell out of orbit and landed goodness-knows-where. So we advise you to grab your laptop and a helmet and hang out in the basement 'til we get the all clear. These pieces should keep your mind off whatever is coming right at us: debate the personal essay Secret Asian Woman, be transported with the enthralling sounds in bird tango, and a college marching band goes hip hop.
