PRX Pickets

Hi friend of PRX,

We'll miss fresh versions of John Stewart, but we'll live through the writers strike. PRX thinks radio creators should get a slice of the digital pie. That's why we give station producers and indies the ability to decide if their works on PRX should be free or carry a price. And, that price applies to uses on the air or on a station web site. Plus new distribution options insist producers get compensated. These are worth hearing:

A complex feminist story (maybe you heard it on NPR). True love...and Spam. Groove to German electronica!

Some of you had amazing moves at Third Coast,
-John

You and Campaign '08
One year to go til Election Day 2008. Woo!

Get a piece of the action. Grab a mic. Record the raw audio of the presidential hopefuls: on the trail, in voters' living rooms, wherever. Post to PRX.

We're making them free to all stations who need the audio for talk shows, newscasts and documentaries.
