PRX Takes Bitter Pill

Hi friend of PRX,

We're a bit quesy about the FDA which just ruled a diabetes drug that might kill people should stay on the market. Reminds us of cigarettes, but then we didn't get into med school. We're only smart enough to expand opportunities for radio producers and stations. PRX prescribes these, with no bad side effects:

Remembering when 'The King' hit Las Vegas. Memories of the Detroit riots in '67. And elderly people in the wake of Katrina.

Talent Quest: An Open Call For Fresh Fundraising Ideas
There's a lot to like about most programming on public radio. Essential as it is, fundraising is usually not on that list.

Maybe you can help us change that. Use your creativity and passion for public radio to create a radio spot that will inspire listeners to support public radio.

We will share the best spots with public radio stations around the country, and NPR is also interested in what you come up with. Learn more about the Fundraising Challenge.
